R.S. wrote out this copy of "The Parson's Son" and read it. Contributed by David & Katherin Fletcher.
R.S. wrote out this copy of "The Parson's Son" and read it as a part of an impromptu-sort of talent night the servicemen had at one of the sites he visited while touring France in 1918. He gave to my Great Grandfather (Joseph Fletcher), his chauffeur, after that night. The scan is of the original poem as written by Robert in his own handwriting. Only the first and last stanzas are shown because of size requirements for a web page.
